Yesterday’s online session was our first Club meeting for 2026.
It was a great start to the year, discussing with the respected attendees the idea of doing things differently to most, by keeping it the same..
There was no hype about hitting the ground running for the New Year, no striving or pushing to go to the next level and to be more and do more than ever before, no obligatory goal setting or resolutions to be better at this or that, or decisions based on regrets from last year.
What there was instead, was enjoyment to reconnect and share what each Member had done over the break, continuation of forward movement, one foot in front of the other, and a quiet excitement and confidence that comes from the practice of knowing that things always unfold in our favour as long as we continue with our personal growth and development, which shapes our perception of everything, and the resulting outcomes.
The work we do in the Club to detach our experience and outcomes from any circumstance in our external world (knowing that we are the centre of everything that we experience), means that Member sharing like we had today regarding successful hires, synchronicities and record months is a regular occurrence – built from the consistency of how we show up.
It isn’t altered by the time of year, the economy or what anyone else does.
Life and business when experienced from this place is much less reactionary. This evens out the up and down rollercoaster that can come from relying on effort and focus to achieve goals through a specific plan, or the need for external motivation and hustling to try and get things done. Instead, we utilise selective action which is intrinsically driven and coupled with high discernment and intuition.
It’s the meaning that we give things which changes how we interact with them.
Doing the inner work to move beyond our automatic interpretations (which are based on our perceptions of past experiences) and instead to embrace and enable our intuitive guidance and inspiration, is hands down the most leveraged use of our time and energy, by far.
This way we achieve greater outcomes with ease, whilst enjoying the experience and having fun.
