We had a mind-blowing session with house Futurist, Craig Rispin, yesterday. He told me before we started that the last 3 months has seen the most rapid pace of evolution of tech that he’s seen in his 30+ year career, and he wasn’t kidding.
He gave us an update and expansion on AI for life and business and provided tailored solutions for attending Members so that they could integrate industry-specific AI into their businesses in the most valuable way for them.
What AI are you utilising currently?
We’re using ChatGPT and a few other AI tools within the Club, but who knew the rapid pace of uptake that’s occurring?
Craig told us it only took 5 days to reach 1 million users on ChatGPT, and only 2 months to reach 100 million users. This is unprecedented growth, with the next closest being TikTok which took 9 months to get to 100 million users.
Clearly, the potential for improvement in efficiency and productivity provided by AI has captured our attention, in fact there are now 10,000+ applications using it.
One that Craig mentioned which will be a total game-changer for many of us is Worldly App for Zoom.
It’s an AI-powered real-time translation for Zoom meetings. Meaning that participants can choose their language and hear the presentation in their mother tongue, in real time, whilst you just do your normal presentation.
How good is that?
